Is TV Dying?

                                           Is T.V. Dying?

In my opinion I believe television is dying. I say this because of history. when it comes to getting your news, more people are getting their info from online sources compared to newspapers. This may be repeating history in a way that more people would get their entertainment through Netflix, Apple TV, Shomi, Crave TV, and YouTube because of a certain thing called on demand. With these applications to entertainment TV may be dying. The whole point of these applications is to make it more accessible for more views and for keeping a dedicated base of users due on good reviews and maintain the happiness of their subscribers. Many people I know are switching their main source for entertainment and news from online sources and applications. Their reasoning for switching is because it allows them to do what they want, when they want. My family has already gotten rid of most of our channels because of applications, especially YouTube. With these sites and applications getting bigger, the majority of shows on TV can be viewed on these sites and applications. Because of this, nothing can separate TV from these applications to give TV an edge. With all these reasons supporting my point, I believe TV is dying.
